Linda Beech – Trysorau Cymraeg

Linda Beech is a sculpture artist, living and working in close proximity to both glorious Welsh beaches and the beautiful Brecon Beacons. She is surrounded by natural beauty, inspiring scenery and an abundance of raw materials for her pieces.

Linda’s designs are mostly made from driftwood, found whilst walking her dog along the shorelines. She also uses reclaimed materials from salvage yards, old workshops and even the odd skip. These include everything from reclaimed Welsh roofing slate and rusty ironmongery to natural finds such as hazelnut shells, dried Brecon Beacons heather and Welsh wool.

Linda’s aim is to capture the idyllic and romantic image of traditional coastal and rural Welsh scenes which you could almost step into.
