About Us
Oriel Mimosa in Llandeilo was named after the tea clipper that heroically carried over 150 intrepid travellers from Wales to Patagonia in 1865. Our first gallery opened in August 2014 in Market St, Llandeilo with an interesting mix of Welsh antiques and art. We quickly outgrew this lovely little shop so we moved to a larger gallery in Rhosmaen St, next door to the prestigious Cawdor Hotel.
Llandeilo itself is a lovely town to visit, with numerous historical sites, beautiful walks and some great pubs and eateries to take advantage of. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our part of West Wales. Croeso cynnes i bawb – Hwyl, Wayne Jones
Our History
The gallery stands in lasting memory of our co-founder, the late Wayne Jones.
His son, Sean Jones—who co-founded Oriel Mimosa with Wayne in August 2014—proudly continues the family legacy today.
