Born in 1965, Karl has been an artist for many years and paints from his home in South Wales. He began painting watercolours in his early teens, and now the central theme of his work is the splendour of the Welsh countryside and its historic past. Karl travels extensively throughout Wales, and his trips continue to provide him with inspiration and an endless source of material. His paintings aim to evoke transcendental and peaceful feelings, as well as nostalgia for the countryside, and the Welsh history and way of life.
