Jo Frost lives close to the Gower coastline, and gains much of her inspiration and energy for painting from this beautiful location. Jo initially followed the path of teaching, gaining a BA in Fine Art and progressing to the position of Head of Art before deciding to leave in order to concentrate solely on her painting. Jo works in plaster, acrylic, oil and resin to create her interpretation of the ocean and its many moods and colours, recently adding lapis lazuli, gold and silver to her paintings.  Her work is exhibited throughout Wales, and can be found in many private collections throughout the UK and the world.
